DMR's Premium Copper Gutter Work Photopage

Below are examples of the copper gutter work that I've personally sold and worked on over the last 20 years. Most with a thicker than standard 20oz copper, which is a very important detail, amongst many other details I do without being asked. Most of which are not found with other Gutter Contractors at any price. If you are looking to invest in copper, you want to make sure it is installed well to last a century. Otherwise why use a life-time metal like copper if it is not installed properly?

I also used to offer the standard thinner 16oz copper for gutters, but encouraged our Clients to go for the thicker 20oz copper, which is the same thickness as standard aluminum gutters, yet a bit stronger, since it is a stiffer metal. Where the thinner 16oz copper is not stronger than aluminum gutters. I finally stopped offering that cheaper option in 2010, since it made no sense and I was able to get a better price for the 20oz copper gutter coil buying it directly from the mill. Logically any Client asking for copper gutters are clearly looking for better than standard and is prepared to pay substantially more for this better option to aluminum. Let alone the thinner steel gutters, which is still used in most new construction to this day.

Logicly, there should not even be a 16oz copper option for gutters, yet that is the only material sold to gutter contractors here in the NW, so I have had to order this thicker 20oz copper directly from the mill back East in large quantities to get them to ship it to me, so I have become the exclusive Dealer of this thicker copper gutter. I am also the only Gutter Contractor using a solid 48oz copper hidden hanger for mounting them, along with a pair of #12 stainless steel screws in each hidden hanger place no further apart than 24" apart, which is half the span required by Building Code, so that is unarguably 8X stronger mounting than Building Code requires.

#73 The Acosta House - 20oz Copper Roof Flashing, 10 Dormer Covers, Turret Roof Cap, & Gutters w/20 Leader-heads (10/24) $100k

Cliff Acosta had contacted me in March of 2021 about a set of custom scuppers for their house they were breaking ground on.

After discussing options Cliff also wanted us to make them a set of roof flashing, 10 dormer covers, and turret roof cap made as part of their 20oz copper gutter job, so over time we casually worked out the details and cost.

After making those parts we made a trip to the jobsite in October of 2024 to install the copper gutters. The total cost was $100k in all.

#72 The Price House - 20oz Copper Gutters & Vented Ridge Cover (1-2+4/24) $11.7k

After patiently waiting over a year for me to start their project, Thomas Price & Laurie Baird met with me again on 1/5/24 to go over the final details again while I was there getting the exact measurements.

We also discussed adding a copper ridge cover for their vented ridge for moss control. We also had to redo the front chimney flashing.

#71 The Lyneham House - 20oz Copper Gutters (10-11/23) $20.9k

Peter Lyneham contracted us to do their copper gutter replacement, and patiently waited 21-months for us to be able to start on their project. We have rarely had a job like this; to replace old copper gutters.

These were unique large boxy gutters without any support of the outer rim, so you could not even lean a ladder against them. The micromesh screens covering them were also a big problem. They were screwed down onto those copper gutters without having cleaned them out first. We found large wood shake roofing pieces, loads of mud, and even a decomposed animal under those screens.

Although, the worst part of all this was how they had formed those oversized downspouts. In forming the sharp elbow junctions, they had closed off over half of the downspout, leaving such a small gap that would become clogged.

It was swell to have these decorative rafter tails extend out past the gutter floor for added support, but that presented a huge mounting challenge. Since the house eves are no longer level, there was a lot of standing water inside many of those old copper gutters. It required us to carefully shim and trim most of these rafter tails to achieve the right grade. It was $20.9k for this work that took us a full month and a half to complete.

#70 The Killian House - 20oz Copper Gutters (9/23) $26.7k

Debbie Killian in Eugene was looking to have her crappy steel fascia gutters replaced and wanted copper gutters.

She also loved our exclusive option to eliminate the downspout elbows with these custom formed trays just under the eaves. She also wanted us to add a large 2X10 fascia board clad with copper to help change the look of the 16" tall fascia boards she has.

We also clad most of the rake boards to match, which required us to remove the edge shingles and reattach then over those added fasia boards.

#69 The Roth House - 20oz Copper Gutters (1-3/23) $20k

Carrie & Justin Roth were looking to have their house reroofed and wanted copper gutters. I reccomended they use these style of shingles, and also provided them with rust-free roof flashing.

This is the first wide inside corner I have made. The right image shows the bay window gutter before it was mounted.

They have this unique radius gutter to form around the turret, which most gutter contractors are not preparred to do.

#68 The Wood House - 20oz Copper Gutters & Awnings

Robert & Tiffanie Wood wanted copper gutters on the new house they were having built, but the contractor just gave them cheap steel gutters that were painted like untarnished copper, so they arranged to have me replace them before they moved in. They are the third set of gutters on this house, and they had yet to move in after 5 years have passed since construction began.

This is a couple pics of the side gutters being installed. It was very difficult to mount these gutters into the concrete boards they had used for fascia boards.

I made a custom funnel for this rainwater roof drain transition point, which is a foot above the gutter. I am to extend an awning over the back steps, that is 6' X 12' wide. We may also be making small window awnings to help protect the window frames.

#67 The Branham House - 20oz Copper Gutters & Awning (2/22) $13.8k

Tara Branham wanted copper gutters on their rental house and she also arranged to have me rebuild her back awning, which was very poorly constructed.

This is a couple pics of the back gutters. The small upper gutter on the left had not drain, so all it could do is fill up and overflow. I decided it would be best to have the lower gutter wrap around the side to drain the upper gutter into. I did the same with the other side to match, and was able to elminate all the elbows and funnel they had on that side before.

I extended the awning over the back door, so I could remove the small metal awning they had. This awning is 12' X 24' wide. Note how there are no fasteners poking holes in the white translucent plastic cover and just 3 seams. It is held in place with industrial Velcro strips from underneath. The parts and installation of the awning with replacing some of the floor boards cost $8,739.06. Along with the copper gutters this cost her $13,821.06 for everything.

#66 The Moon House - 20oz Copper Gutter & Scuppers (10/21) $5k
El Paso Texas

This is the first time I had to ship long gutter runs through truck freight. Ted Moon had contacted me back in the Summer of 2021 about his back patio issues.

When it rains off the flat roof, that rain water dumps out of the clay scuppers and splatters onto their covered patio, which causes a big mess and looking for a good solution.

As you can see, some of them are right over those arches.

We came up with this plan to build him these Leader-heads to cover the clay scuppers and direct all that rain water down into a copper gutter, so it can divert that water off to the far left side.

The cost for this along with packaging and truck freight to El Paso Texas was $5k.

#65 The Bailey House - 20oz Copper Gutters (10/21) $9.2k

Karen & Jodell Bailey wanted copper gutters on their house to go with their rust-free aluminum roof there in Northeast Portland, and they had contacted me on 3/10/21 for a quote, but they did not feel they could wait a year to have me install them, so they read over my DIY instructions, we discussed the options and ordered a set of copper gutter parts from me to install themselves.

They also paid my $200 minimum charge on 4/15/21 to come measure their house to make sure those parts would fit just right.

They paid $5,691.60 for the parts on 6/5/21 and I made the parts delivery on 6/19/21, but had some trouble getting more hidden hangers and the outside box-miters for this order. I wound up having to make my own copper hidden hangers for the first time.

By 8/31/21 they had not had a chance to get any of these gutters installed, so they contacted me again about getting those parts installed before the rainy Fall weather hits. Since my schedule of projects would not have allowed for this I needed to work several weekends and holidays to make that happen. I was finally able to finish it on 10/10/21. This cost them an additional $3,525, so that was a total of $9,216.60 installed.

#64 The Moore House - 20oz Copper Gutters (9/21) $10k
3816 N. E. 23rd, Portland, Oregon

This homeowner had contracted with me on 8/12/19, so they had to wait 2 years for me to replace their steel gutters with these copper gutters, so they won't have to worry about this ever again.

I decided to extend the front gutter to wrap around the corner this way, instead of trying to get the downspout to wrap around the corner like it did before. Also, this short gutter to the right needed my super-outlet, since it takes the water and debris from 2 valley above with lots of overhanging trees.

This house is owned by Ilysa & Stephen Parker, which had copper gutters, but were severly damage from snow loads sliding off their roof, so they contracted with me to replace with thicker copper gutter, so they won't have to worry about this ever again. They opted for these custom trays to replace the normal elbows for the downspouts. I had used the old leaf-catchers under them for larger outlets in those trays.

I was contacted by their Builder to help train a couple of his men to do better gutter work like this.

#60 The Mughal House - 20oz Copper Gutters, a Cupola, & 2 Copper Chimney Caps
(7/18 to 8/19) $66.5k for both projects (more to come)

This house is owned by Usman Mughal, which already had new steel fascia gutters put on by the Builder, which he was already fed up with on this new construction mansion. We were first contracted to make a cupola and 2 chimney caps for Mr. Mughal, but later asked for a bid for new copper gutters. He already had all the steel downspouts replaced with 3" round copper pipe and had scuppers added in the front, which I had to remount propperly.

This grand mansion with connected garage had around 10X more gutters than the average house, at 1,250 ln'. He told me those steel gutters were slapped up in a week by just 1 man, yet this took me over 10X as long to install the new copper gutters and remount all the downspouts better with my Leaf-catchers added.

#59 The Law/Donohoe House - 20oz Copper Gutters, & Small Dormer

This house is owned by Mark Law and Susan Donohoe, which is up in the West Hills with a nice view of the Willamette Valley. It seems Mark work for New Seasons. They were very patient to wait nearly 2 years for me to start on their gutter replacement, but it seems no other gutter contractor was willing to work on their house because of the difficulties of the back side 4 story reach and the many trees in the way.

I was asked for bid on December of 2015. They waited until late May of 2017 to go for the whole package and put down a deposit on this extensive project. It was not until early May of 2019 that I was finally able to start on their gutter replacement project, which took a full 2 months to complete. So, it was 3.7 years since the bid, and over 2 years since they paid the substantial 1/3 deposit to get this work done. I had to build some unusual structures to reach the back gutters. The total cost was $19.5k.

We had built our first convex roof covered chimney cap for them a couple years prior to this gutter replacement work. It was for our client Dr. James Shelton in Salem, Oregon. The cost of this chimney cap delivered and installed was $6.5k. I was also asked to replacing their steel fascia gutters with copper for another $8k.

#57 The Brodsky Garage/Office - 24oz Copper Scuppers & Awnings (10/18) $11.4k

This garage/office addition is owned by Matt and Irene Brodsky. I had made them a set of temporary aluminum scuppers to get them by. Originally I was contracted by the Builder to design, build, and install a set of custom copper scuppers in the corners of this new construction out building for her office. I also built a cedar frame and covered them with this twin wall translucent plastic cover for theeir carport and right side awning.

Although, communicating with this contractor was very difficult, and they would not share what I asked with the Homeowners they were working for, so after over a year of this communication breakdown they finally released their hold and let the Homeowners deal with me directly to get this done the way they want. This kind of problems dealing with a General Contractor is a very common occurrence, so I HATE working as a sub for the Homeowner's GC, as it never seems to go well, but this was literally impossible.

#56 The Benson House - 20oz Copper Gutters, Rake edge Cap, & skylight

This house is owned by Melissa Benson, which is up on the hill in Lake Oswego with a nice view of the Willamette Valley. It seems she has made her fortune with the distribution of petrolium through Bretthauer. Although, this client should be avoided at all cost, as she (a) refused to pay my normal 1/3 deposit, (b) neglected to sign a contract, (c) had been extremely difficult to communicate and work with: being hard to reach and taking up to a month to respond, (d) had refused to pay a deposit for the change orders she requested I do, claiming she would only pay the balance once it was all completed, (e) after completion she has been combative, rude, horribly offensive, and has refused to pay me for my work; claiming she wants me to now replace over half the gutters in order to downgrade her gutter system by eliminating the 4 expansion joints and removing the slopes I normally impliment, so they drain properly. She only cares for the look and not how they function, even if it voids my extensive 15 year warranty.

She has made the most ridiculous claims I have heard in my 24 years as a licensed Contractor; complaining about some of my most important advantages, which she could not get from other Gutter Contractor at any price. Such as properly grading the gutters to drain and expansion joints. Then making up other excuses, which demostrates she would never be saticefied with any changes I made, so we are at an impass, and I cannot trust she will pay if I meet all her demands. Clearly this seems to be her plan from the beginning; to see how much she could string me along and squeeze out of me, and what she could not have to pay for. I was total unsuspecting of this, since no other client in the past has tried to pull something like this on me before. I can only imagine this is what she has been doing to all Contractors who fall into her trap. Apparently Contractors need a review system for clients as well, such as Air B&B have.

This was an unusually difficult situation as well to replace her rusty steel half round gutters with new 20oz copper K-5 style gutters and downspouts in the high heat of Summer. The fascia boards they needed to be mounted to are not vertical, so I had to build out the fascia to mount the new gutters onto. Along with other improvements needed, which she refuses to pay for. I had even done some $4,000 worth of extra work I am not charging her for to appease her, but she has shown to have no intention of paying the balance at all no matter what I do. Fortunately this is extremely rare to come across. Most of my Clients have appreciate the extra mile I go to on each project without being asked, and do not jerk me around.

This challenge was mainly getting to this house to work on it, since we had to drive 3,200 miles round trip. We spent 2 months working on those 3 chimney caps. Then I flew out there to get measurements for all the 46 piece gutter system totaling nearly 800 ln', so we could prep them here, which took another month to do. Then we spent 2 weeks in Wyoming doing the installation. I stayed another 3 days to finish wrapping the 12 columns in copper. This was the first time I have been able to work with thicker 20oz copper downspouts.

This was a simple house structure w/leaking hidden box gutters, so it was necessary for us to trim down the edge of the roof line, add an 8" wide strip of 3/4" plywood, and cover it with a 15" wide aluminum flashing to cover where the old steel gutter was. The fascia was attached at an angle, so we made wedge of wood to level out the new gutter. We then also covered the fascia with a custom formed aluminum of an almond color. This client opted for custom trays, instead of normal downspouts for added headroom on 2 outlets.

#46 The Laing House - 20oz Copper Gutters & 16oz DS Replacement (4/14) $23.5k

This was a very cute classic Victorian style house built in the 80's on the West Hills ridge. I wound up adding copper on a few areas that did not have gutters before for an improved rain management. This also has several roof trays to deliver the rain water from the upper gutters down to the lower gutters without touching the roofing shingles. Without those copper trays that river of water would prematurely wear those shingles. I also added some 4ga copper wire with brass hooks around the porch eaves for them to hang X-Mas lights on. It is really neat to see this sort of classic architecture make a comeback.

This was a cute little house with an unusual arch in front. The rain management next to the front door was especially tricky with about half the front roof draining at the base of this valley. The back gutters had just the one downspout, and I was able to eliminate the elbows on the short lower gutter by wrapping around the back door roof cover.

She had a Contractor called Lifetime Exteriors replace her siding, but the roof flashing on the dormers was not done right, so I called for her to compel them to replace it right with some copper flashing I provided.

This was an unusual project, where we were paid an extra $4k to drive cross Country on a long 5k mile round trip to Canton, Ohio for a Client named Mark & Cathy Church for their copper gutter job. It was quite the adventure, given I had never traveled East of the Rockies before this. Can you imagine what we must have looked like to the other drivers along the freeway? We were able to stop in to visit our Sisters in Utah and Colorado along the way. We also got to see Mount Rushmore on the way back, but the Pioneer Auto Show was more interesting.

A few months earlier Mark had contracted us provided copper and aluminum flashing parts for his reroofing project, so we had shipped those prior to this trip. He was diligent to get us careful measurements and photos for us to spend a month before the trip getting the gutter parts prepared ready to install, as you see here above.

We brought fascia and rake edge covers with us to install before the gutter went on, but the local Contractor had reported to us they were to cover 1X6 boards, yet in fact they were 2X6, so we had to wait for them to replace all the fascia boards, so these covers would fit and not wasted material. The rake edge were too difficult to remove, so they are going to have to replace those covers we made and install later on, so we did not get shots of this all finished up nice.

I also made them a weathervane roof mount you see in front of the chimney with this Golfer style weathervane. Just click on this photo to see a larger full screen copy.

I have designed a flat roofing process that is better than any other metal roof concept I have seen to allow for expansion and contraction as the temperature chages, as well as much easier to replace a specific panel if it were to get damaged. I also helped them out with a problem they had with the daylight dining room that had, so I offered them a less costly solution to seal up their 16 larger skylight windows that were leaking.

I heard they had gotten bids for around $27k from other Contractors to repair their sunroom, but for about $2k I was able to add more insulation, dampen the intensity of the sunlight, add impact resistance, and the condensation between the glass is less noticeable. They may still decide to have this room rebuilt some day, but this reasonable cost solution can buy them several years to decide what they want to do with it.

I noticed problems with how the glass panes were secured and sealed over their green house that's built off the end of their house. The steel flashing was rusty, missing, and disloacted in numerous spots. The wood under that flashing was quite rotted as well, so I suggested resealing them and covering the support braces with new boards and covering them with copper caps to help minimize the mildew growth as well, so they had us do that as soon as we could fit it into our schedule that Summer We also replaced severa broken glass panes.

The final adjusted cost for this greenhouse work was $3,745.36

They had all the old plastic gutter removed and the fascia boards replaced, so there were no gutters to remove. Later they had me make copper ridge cap for a hidden vented roof and other flashing for the reroofing they had done. I also made them this custom vent cap on the right.

This was a fairly simple gutter installation that only took 2 days, after spending a couple days in my shop processing these gutters and Leaf-catchers. I made a suggestion to connect the 2 front gutters with this short gutter you see above the small step ladder. That will act as an overflow in case the outlet on the other end were to clog. They plan to have me add copper ridge caps for moss control.

This house is owned by Debra Blanchard. This is a very unusual house with a very rustic charm tucked up off the road where you cannot see it from the street with forested land and privacy.

This house had built-in gutters installed, but dud not work well. She needed me to trim down the angled fascia boards and outer face of the steel gutters to cover them with a 9" wide super drip edge flashing and mount copper gutters on the outside.

I had to build a wedge piece to go the length of the gutter that mounted to the back of the gutters to hold it level on this angles fascia board. She opted for the black steel screens over the copper screens, since for half the cost they are likely to last just as well.

She was partial to the rain chains she had, but these fancy copper rain-cups look and work a lot better

This house is owned by Ned & Sarah Holbrook. This is a very unusual house with a very rustic charm tucked up where you cannot see from the street. I was amazed to find a house in this area of Town that had so much land and privacy. This house never had gutters installed and they needed me to trim back these extended rafter tails to mount sturdy copper gutters to.

I wound up having to build some extensive scaffolding just to access the roof on the side and rear of the house because of the heights and thick foliage around the house. I also needed to add a good 95' of 3" ABS storm drain piping to get the run-off away from the foundation.

#18 The Wright House - 20oz Copper Gutter Job (4/08) $6.5k

This house is owned by James & Mary Wright. This is an interesting house that has one of the neatest enclosed porches I have seen. They wanted me to replace their old steel fascia gutters with nice sturdy copper gutters that work.

I needed to mount the gutters lower to allow for possible snow loads to slide off without thrashing the gutters. They later asked me to make them some custom copper flashing to cover the exposed fascia boards over the gutters.

This also gave the screens a good sturdy surface to rest on, since they cannot set over the metal roofing like I do with most installations. I bent all the edges of the metal roof panels down to be a proper drip edge, so the rain is much less likely to shoot over the top of the gutter in a heavy down pour. I was called in later to replace these flimsy copper screens with the black steel screens I now use on copper gutter jobs, as they had gotten bent terribly out of shape from snow loads we got in the Winter of 09.

Below shows how I was able to eliminate the diagonal DS pipe over the window by making the gutter wrap around the corner to the DS 7' back

This house is owned by Eric Skinner and his partner. This is an interesting old brick house with a clay tile roof. They wanted to replace the old half round rusty steel gutters with nice sturdy copper gutters that work. The client did the gutter removal so he could replace some of the fascia boards that were ruined by the old half round gutters.

They needed some minor flashing work as well to replace some rusty steel flashing that was missed by the roofer who installed the tile roof. You can see the mildew stains down the bricks from the old gutters here in the right photo.

This was for a general contractor working on this home doing a lot of remodel work and he had built this entry roof. He had gotten a bid from Monavilla Sheetmetal of $5k for just this roof cover in a thinner 16oz copper sheet metal. I was able to provide all this and the gutters in a thicker 20oz copper for less than half the cost, along with assistance installing it as well. It only has this one seam under the upper gutter that has a 6" overlap.

This house is owned by Jean Stevenson. This is a grand old house up in the West Hills area.

They had several different contractors attempt to fix her gutter problems in the past and I was amazed with some of the crazy ideas they had that did not work. It was a collection of the worst repairs I have ever seen. They had me replace her gutter system and built-in scuppers with nice sturdy copper and aluminum gutters that work.

They had me replace 6 custom scuppers in aluminum and copper for the 2 built-in scuppers, so they would last. The last repairman had covered her rusty steel with aluminum foil as a fix to keep it from leaking into the house walls. I could not believe my eyes when I saw it! The rust holes were large enough to pass my fist through (as you can see). The next photo shows the temporary repair with aluminum I did just to get them by a few months, until I could fit their job in my schedule and fix this properly with copper.

Believe it or not the previous front gutter repair was even more ridiculous.

Around 10 years earlier I had replaced the gutters on his house on the corner of 17th and Fremont in white pre-painted aluminum to match the house trim paint. I had featured the special work of his house on our web site since it's beginning.

The funny thing was how the General Contractor rebuilding this house was having the roofing replaced. They had me cover it the with the 20oz copper sheet metal. The gutters were gone, so I asked about having me install the gutters in aluminum or perhaps a matching copper, but he said he already had a gutter contractor lined up to do it. Then a year later I am contacted By Mr. Lesh to replace the cheap steel gutters that were just put up with our copper gutter system and add some gutters on the sides. The steel gutters were already failing.

I removed the old steel fascia gutters to install our new 20oz copper gutters for Cam Buck. The original bid on 3-23-06 was for $3,753.50, just 5 days before we found out that copper prices were sky-rocketing. I removed the aluminum gutters to install my new 20oz copper gutters for Michael Wight. The original bid on 11-19-05 was for $7,955.96, but they waited until 3-28-06 to agree to the terms and put the 1/3 down deposit. The cost of copper had risen considerably, so we had to charge more, but with only half the screens it raised the cost to only $8,152.40. Then later with more changes of adding some drip-edge flashing and screens all around; the final cost was only $8,164.30 for everything after we had recalculated the cost to reflect only the materials used and a 25% discount on all the screens, which was a savings of $457.07.

There is a small section of a 20oz copper gutters we contracted to replace on the opposite corner of this house for Mr. Masood. It is a high security gated house, so you would not be able to get close enough to get a look at the back gutter work we did unless you are strolling the golf coarse behind them. These copper gutters are to replace the steel concave fascia gutters that had clogged even though they have no tall trees near the house. He had us replace just that back corner of the house that was giving them the most grief for now, and wanted me to do the whole house later. We ran into conflicts that could not be resolved, so I refunded his deposit for the rest of the work.

Here is a copper gutter job I did for a nice couple in Forest Grove. They have been working hard to personally remodel the inside, but got help to do the outside work. This is listed on the Historical Registry, so they needed to make sure the remodeling would be done right.

The aluminum gutters they had were hung from thin aluminum straps nailed on the roof, and some had fallen off after a few years, so they had the painters tear off the rest of the gutters and downspouts. They had paid $23k just to have their house paint removed. And another $13k to have it primed and a 4 tone paint job done. Their house is on the Historical registry, so they were perplexed to figure out how to solve their gutter problems.

They had spent a few years trying to find a gutter contractor to even give them a bid for the work they needed, but were unsuccessful. They were thrilled to finally find our web site and see how we have already done this kind of work on houses that were originally designed not to be able to mount gutters onto.

In our original bid to add the drip edge that the roofers neglected to install, and to build out the eaves of the roof in order to mount the 175' of new aluminum gutters onto, the downspouts, and the No-clog options had come to $4,600 total.

After seeing our bid, the Kistlers then asked us for a price on 16oz copper gutters with the mitered endcapping. This added only $3,200 more to the cost, for a total of $7,800. They put down $3,900 to have us schedule it in, even though we were booked 3 months out. They latter added the heavy gauge 20oz copper gutters to our bid. The final cost was $8,063.10 for everything after we recalculated the cost to reflect only the materials used. So the heavy-duty copper only added $263.10 to the original bid

Here is a copper gutter job I did for the Hill family. The original bid for aluminum gutters was $1,100 and the no-clog options came to another $943, so the total was a little over $2k. They put $1k down as a deposit that same night we did the bid, but was not sure if they wanted to go with the copper gutters instead.

They later decided to go with the copper gutters at $4.8k. Then just before doing the work, they decided to go the extra cost for the heavy gauge 20oz copper for the gutters. This was our first copper gutter job we got for the heavy gauge copper. It was noticeable stronger and heavier.

That cost them $5,609.80 to install the 191.5' of heavy gauge 20oz copper gutters plus the downspouts, along with the No-clog options and all the advanced features we offer, short of the embossed gutters shown at the bottom of this page, since we have not yet had a taker on that feature.

This a large 16oz copper gutter job I did back for a client that lives just above the Metro Zoo. I did $14,211 worth of work in copper, wood, aluminum, plastic, and brick for them.

We later were called back to make a small custom gutter to go around the balcony, so the railing can be attached outside that.

We were called back to fabricate a custom white painted aluminum cover for two window sills. One that had developed such dry-rot that it was growing mushrooms out of the wood. We also cleaned the debris off the roof while there. They report to have not needed to service the gutters at all since they were installed.

Here is a huge copper gutter job I did with over 850' of larger K-6" gutters for a client just North of Beaverton. It cost them about $13k for us to rent a K-6" gutter machine and run the 3" wider metal through it to make those larger copper gutters.

They latter had us return to install aluminum gutters on their 85' long barn. Then a few years latter to do roof cleaning and moss treatment. I trust that this repeat business is a good indication of customer satisfaction. See our 'Referral' web page for our written referrals.

These photos are several years after we installed the gutters on the house, so it shows how they look dark brown after about 4 years of tarnishing. It actually takes several decades to get that chalky green tarnish look.
